Abstract Submission Guidelines
Eligibility for Submission
- Submission is open solely for Radiology Residents; however, co-authors may be included.
- The name of the presenting author must be clearly indicated during submission and will serve as the primary contact for all correspondence.
- All abstracts should be original and not presented in a previous conference.
Type of Submissions
- Educational posters/exhibits.
- Educational exhibits should review or teach:
- Radiologic signs
- Pathological correlations
- Procedures and techniques
- Treatments and interventions
- Other topics relevant to imaging practice
Regions of Interest
- Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
- Chest imaging
Submission Format
Submission must be in PDF format, providing the reviewer with an overview of the content intended for the final poster/exhibit.
Title
- The abstract must have a short, specific title without abbreviations.
- The title should clearly indicate the disease, procedure, or modality under investigation.
- It should attract and engage the intended audience.
Abstract Construction
- Abstracts are limited to 200 words.
- Abstracts must be structured using the following section headings:
- Teaching Points – outline the learning goals of the poster.
- Table of Contents – outline the sections of the abstract (e.g., background, definitions, disease descriptions, pathophysiology, imaging techniques, or interventional details).
- Figures - Five Figures must accompany initial abstract submission and may include any combination of images, charts, or graphs, all figures must be original, generated by authors or extracted from authors institute PACS. All patient needs to be completely anonymized.

Acceptance & Rejection
- Abstracts will be evaluated based on:
- Scientific or clinical value
- Relevance to the conference
- Depth and clarity of the review
- Objectivity of statements
- Standard of English
- Overall impression
- Upon Completion of the evaluation of submitted abstracts, an "Accepted" or "Rejected" email will be sent to authors.
Instructions for Accepted Authors
- Accepted authors will receive one complimentary registration pass that will be assigned and sent prior to the conference.
- A disclosure form identifying commercial relationships for all co-authors must be completed by the submitting author.
- The submitting author signs and verifies the disclosure on behalf of all co-authors.

Submission Format
Submit a 3–5 slide PowerPoint presentation following the structure below:
Slide 1 – Cover Slide
- Case title
- Authors
- Affiliations
Slide 2 – Text Slide (max 250 words)
Include a concise case synopsis covering:
- Clinical characteristics
- Imaging features
- Pathology and/or surgical findings
- Treatment
- Prognosis
- Final diagnosis
Slide 3–4 – Figures Slides
Include annotated, anonymized JPEG images with clear captions. Follow these imaging requirements:
- Ultrasound (US): Gray scale +/- Doppler
- CT: Appropriate window settings; multiple windows for the same slice when relevant
- Radiographs: More than one plane when possible
- MRI: At least one appropriate sequence (e.g., T1, T2, pre- & post-contrast)
- Pathology: Gross and histologic pathology images or reports (if applicable)
- Intra-operative or endoscopic images (if applicable)
Slide 5 – Literature References
- Use AMA citation style
- References must be from peer-reviewed journals or textbooks
